Ingredients:
- 250 g flour
- 3 eggs
- 250 ml of milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons BAM vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Raisins (optional)

Instructions:
1. Step
First, separate the egg whites and egg yolks. Whisk the egg whites until stiff and mix the egg yolks with the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and milk. Add the baking powder and mix well.
2. Step
Then gradually fold the whisked egg whites into the mixture, making sure to mix gently and evenly. Add the raisins, if desired.
3. Step
Melt the butter in a large frying pan over a medium heat. When the butter has melted, pour the mixture for the schmorn into the pan and spread it evenly.
4. Step
Fry on a medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown. Then turn the schmorn to the other side and fry for about 5-7 minutes more.
5. Step
When the schmorn is nicely browned on both sides, cut it into pieces with a slotted spoon and sprinkle with icing sugar or any of the BAM mixes for sweet tooths, if desired.
6. Step
Serve while still hot or garnish with fresh fruit, jam or sweet cream.
