BAM Golden or turmeric milk is an Indian drink with a vibrant yellow colour. Considered by Ayurveda to be extremely healing and beneficial to health, it is also used in our part of the world as an alternative remedy to improve the immune system and prevent disease. The key ingredient of turmeric is curcumin, while black pepper acts as an obligatory activator of turmeric. The other ingredients are added to this mixture to give it just the right flavour. Take a moment for yourself and enjoy a drink full of flavour. One packaging of the blend is enough to make about 25 - 30 drinks.

BAM Golden Milk Spice blend consists of turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper and ginger. The key ingredient of turmeric is curcumin, while black pepper acts as a mandatory activator of turmeric. The other ingredients are added for just the right flavour.

The preparation is very simple. Mix a teaspoon of the golden milk spice blend with a small amount of hot milk in a cup. Stir to make a thick paste, then add the rest of the milk and mix well. If desired, sweeten with a teaspoon of honey, brown sugar or agave syrup. Alternatively, other types of milk can be used, such as soy milk or almond milk. As these types contain less fat, we recommend, adding a teaspoon of coconut butter, as the fat makes it easier for the body to absorb the ingredients.

Turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper.

May contain traces of gluten.

How to store

Store at room temperature (between 15-25°C) in a dry and dark place. Keep in an original container. The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Avoid refrigerated storage.

Instructions

Heat about 2 dl of milk in a pot.
Put a teaspoon of the mixture in a cup and pour a small amount of hot milk over it. Stir to make a thick paste, then add the remaining milk. Stir well.
If desired, sweeten with a teaspoon of honey, brown sugar or agave syrup. One packaging is enough to make about 25 - 30 drinks.

BAM tip: You can use any milk you like (cow's or plant milk). For better absorption of the ingredients, you can add a teaspoon of coconut butter to the cup when making the drink.
