The cooked gnocchi or ravioli can be served on a plate and topped with the cream sauce. You may also sprinkle freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese on top. Alternatively, the gnocchi or ravioli can be added directly to the sauce and mixed well with the sauce there, then served. It is up to you which way you choose.


The sauce is not only great as a warm dish, but also as a cold dressing for a cold pasta salad. Just add the juice of half a lemon to the sauce for freshness and you're ready to go.

Ingredients:

  • a saucepan
  • a pot
  • strainer
  • knife
  • spoon
  • a cooking spoon
  • a chopping board
  • Garlic crusher

Instructions:

1. Step Fill a pot with water, add a pinch of salt and bring the water to the boil. When the water is boiling, put the tortellini or gnocchi in it. Cook them according to the instructions on the packaging. When the pasta is cooked, strain it through a strainer and rinse it a little to prevent the pasta from sticking together.
2. Step In a small saucepan, slowly melt the butter and add the crushed garlic.
3. Step When the garlic aroma hits its peak, add the cooking cream and sour cream. Finally, season the sauce with pepper and salt to taste.
4. Step Heat the sauce slowly over a low heat and allow it to come to the boil. Meanwhile, wash and finely chop the parsley and add it to the sauce.
5. Step Stir well, set aside and the cream sauce for pasta is ready.
