Ingredients:

  • 230g butter (soft)
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon BAM Vanilla Sugar
  • 240g flour
  • 100g almond flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (to taste)
  • A little red food colouring (adjust the amount according to the desired colour intensity)
  • A little sliced almonds (for the nails)

Instructions:

1
In a bowl, beat the soft butter, sugar and BAM Vanilla Sugar with an electric mixer until creamy.
2
Add the flour and almond extract and mix well to form a firm dough. If the dough seems too soft, put it in the fridge for a while to firm up a bit.
3
Separate a small piece of dough (about the size of a human finger) and shape it into a finger shape. Use a knife or chopstick to shape the joints and nails on the finger.
4
Apply a little red food colouring to one end of your finger to simulate a bloody fingertip. Place sliced almonds or cloves in the middle of the finger to simulate nails.
5
Place the shaped fingers on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
6
Once the witch''s fingers are baked and cooled, serve them on a fun Halloween table. Your guests will surely be amazed by this spooky snack!
