The blend contains spices such as coriander, cinnamon, cloves, anise, nutmeg, star anise, fennel and cardamom, and with the perfect balance, conjures up the full flavour of a ginger biscuit.

1. Step In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt. Mix well and set aside.
2. Step In another bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, honey and egg with an electric mixer and mix until smooth.
3. Step Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until you have an even batter. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little flour.Form the dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour (or overnight) to chill well.
4. Step Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 0,5 cm. Using the moulds, cut out gingerbread shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Step Place the oven in the preheated oven and bake the gingerbread for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.Cool on a wire rack.
